I want to thank you for the excellent experience at Kendall College Culinary Camp. I learned a lot, but the most important thing I learned was how to prevent my fingers from getting cut-off when using a knife.

“It will be good for me to get out of the house and get away from technology and not be bored all summer eating and doing nothing.”
— Rachel, age 14, attending YMCA Camp Duncan in 2016
When we picked up Ryan (from Camp Riley), I can’t explain it, but he was different – in a good way. Although Ryan can’t talk, he smiled a little bit more, laughed a little bit louder, and looked at us a little bit longer…There are many things Ryan cannot do because of his limitations, but for one week, he is with people who see past his disabilities and show him the ‘time of his life.’ Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
